OUR STORY

The heart of the Hogfarmers Charitable Foundation began with supporting a young girl named Abby during her battle with pediatric cancer. Around that same time, one of our own Hogfarmers families was experiencing the challenges of having a child undergo medical treatment that required an extended hospital stay. Together, these experiences gave us a firsthand understanding of how difficult a serious childhood illness can be, not only for the child, but for the entire family.

Abby’s courage and the strength of her family helped inspire what would grow into a much larger mission: standing beside children and families battling pediatric cancer and reminding them that they are not alone.

Founded in 2018, the Hogfarmers Charitable Foundation is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting families affected by pediatric cancer. What began with a shared love of the Washington Commanders and a desire to bring smiles to children during incredibly difficult times has grown into an organization providing meaningful support to families throughout their cancer journey.

Today, we support families through care packages, financial assistance, special events, hospital visits, and other opportunities designed to provide encouragement, relief, and lasting memories. Our team remains volunteer-driven, allowing us to stay focused on what has mattered from the very beginning: being there for families when they need it most.

What started with one courageous little girl continues through every child and family we have the privilege of supporting.
