On June 8th 2023 the Washington Commanders hosted 9-year-old Kennedy at their minicamp. Warrior Kennedy battled B-cell leukemia since May 2021 and is currently in maintenance phase of treatment. She spent the day meeting all the players to include her favorite player K.J. Henry. She participated in practice and helped make sure the players were in their spots at all times.
